Deployment

Three ways to run Vinci.

Vinci ships open. Use it hosted, self-host the open weights, or run it sovereign on Canadian infrastructure with Zero Data Retention. One model, three deployment shapes.

Level 1

Hosted

Use it like any API.

Run Vinci on try.getsimpledirect.com — Canadian-hosted, Zero Data Retention by default. The fastest way to start.

Individuals and teams who want zero setup.

Level 2

Owned

Self-host the open weights.

Download Vinci's open weights and run them on your own infrastructure. The weights are yours — fine-tune, audit, redeploy.

Teams who want full control and no vendor lock-in.

Level 3

Sovereign

Deployed to your environment.

We deploy and license Vinci into your infrastructure — Canadian data residency, ZDR, full audit trail. By introduction.

Teams that need full control over where it runs.

Verify it. Then run it anywhere.

Open weights mean you're never locked in. Vinci 1.0 (vinci-piccolo) launches July 2, 2026.

Renting vs owning

Most AI is rented. Vinci can be owned.

Renting an API

Revoked, repriced, or deprecated at will.

Owning the weights
Access

Open weights you keep — no one can take them back.

Renting an API

Your data leaves for someone else's cloud.

Owning the weights
Location

Canadian sovereign infrastructure, or your own environment.

Renting an API

A black box you can't inspect or change.

Owning the weights
Control

Open weights you can audit, fine-tune, and run offline.
