These terms govern your use of the SimpleDirect website (getsimpledirect.com). By using the site, you agree to them. If you disagree with any part, please do not use the site. Use of SimpleDirect models is governed by a separate model license that ships with each model.
About SimpleDirect
SimpleDirect® is a trademark of Alpine Pacific Trading Inc., a Canadian corporation based in Toronto, Ontario. "We," "us," and "our" in these terms refer to Alpine Pacific Trading Inc.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the site to break the law; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems; (c) scrape or harvest content in a way that disrupts service; (d) misrepresent yourself when contacting us. We may suspend access for misuse without notice.
Intellectual property
All site content — copy, code, images, logos — is owned by Alpine Pacific Trading Inc. unless attributed otherwise. The SimpleDirect® name and brand are trademarks. You may share links to and screenshots of our pages. You may not republish substantial portions of the site without permission.
About the AI models
SimpleDirect models are governed by the license that ships with each model. flash-1-mini is released under the Apache License 2.0, as a derivative of an open, Apache-2.0-licensed base model, with attribution in its NOTICE file; later models may ship under different terms stated on their own pages. Nothing on this site grants you a license to any model.
Model outputs and reliance
Model outputs are generated by software running on your own hardware. They are not professional advice — legal, medical, financial, or otherwise — and using a SimpleDirect model does not create a lawyer-client or any other professional relationship. flash-1-mini is a legal-citation tool, not a lawyer: it can produce incorrect, outdated, or fabricated citations and statements, and you are responsible for verifying every output against authoritative primary sources before relying on it. We are not responsible for the outputs, or for any decision made or action taken based on them.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties — express or implied — about availability, accuracy, fitness for purpose, or non-infringement. We may change or remove content at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alpine Pacific Trading Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to CAD $100.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Alpine Pacific Trading Inc. against any third-party claim arising from your misuse of the site or breach of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario. Any dispute will be heard in the courts of Toronto, Ontario.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top tells you when. Continued use after a change means acceptance of the new terms.
