AI Output Disclaimer
Vinci is a generative AI assistant. We build it to be honest, but it isn't a professional and it can be wrong. This applies wherever you use Vinci — the web app, the mobile apps, and the developer API. Please read this before relying on what it says.
In short
Vinci can make mistakes. Don't rely on it for professional, medical, legal, or financial decisions. Verify anything important, and keep a person in the loop for consequential use.
Not professional advice
Outputs are for general information only and are not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. For medical, legal, financial, or other consequential matters, consult a licensed professional.
It can be wrong
Generative AI can produce confident-sounding answers that are inaccurate, outdated, or fabricated — "hallucinated" — and can reflect bias in its data. Honest by design doesn't mean infallible; check important facts against authoritative sources.
What a verification result means
Where Vinci reports that checks passed, that means the specified checks completed successfully against the identified artifact and policy at the time they ran. It is not a representation that the artifact is free of defects, secure for every use, or suitable for every environment, and it does not move responsibility for the outcome from you to us. A check can only find what it was written to look for, and a result describes the run that produced it rather than every future use of the same artifact.
Your decisions are yours
You are responsible for how you use outputs, whether you use Vinci through the apps or the API. Review them, apply your own judgment, and don't use them to make high-stakes decisions without independent verification and meaningful human oversight.
